Each year, SEA-Chicago aims to design three to five new workshops targeted to individuals interested in social enterprise.
The following workshop titles give an indication of the topical areas under consideration for the initial offerings of the workshop series:

Partnering Events
The Chicago region is home to many universities and membership associations with common interests. On an ongoing basis, SEA-Chicago will seek opportunities to provide qualified panelists, conference presenters, and workshop trainers to participate in events pertaining to social enterprise. In addition, the Chapter will promote expanded coverage of this topic by such organizations. A small sample of potential relationship building targets include the following:

Committees
- The Finance Committee is responsible to the Board of Directors of the SEA-Chicago Chapter and commissioned by it to oversee the financial activities of the Chapter.
The Committee shall ensure that its work is carried out in accord with the overall policies and practices approved by the full SEA-Chicago Board of Directors.

- The Program Committee is responsible to the SEA-Chicago Board of Directors and commissioned by the Board to assume primary responsibility for program concerns,
activities and events sponsored by the Chapter. The Committee shall also ensure that its work is carried out in accord with the overall policies and practices approved by the
full SEA-Chicago Board of Directors. To participate, please contact the Committee Chairperson - John Plunkett.
- The Public Relations and Media Committee is charged with generally increasing SEA-Chicago Chapter's media presence - both locally and nationally.
There is a large network of potential new members in the Chicago community who are unaware of the organization. Our overarching goal will be to seek and identify
communications opportunities for special events, speaking engagements and media placements to increase the membership base while touting the Chapter successes. To participate, please contact the Committee Chairperson - Sheri Gibson.
